A Special Interest Group ("SIG") consists of members who find a common subject that they'd like to discuss amongst themselves, outside of the regular ECU-MUG monthly meetings. Each SIG should choose a leader and that person should make sure the rest of the membership knows about the SIG and keeps the main ECU-MUG officers informed on the SIG's progress. There can be as many SIGs as needed. All it takes is a few people to start one. SIGs can even offer to give a demonstration at the regular "general" meetings (just notify a ECU-MUG officer in advance).
