Welcome to the East Carolina University Macintosh Users Group (ECU-MUG) web site. Founded in April 2002, the ECU-MUG not only serves ECU students, faculty, and staff, but also members of the community who are interested in the Macintosh operating system and other related technologies. Membership is free.

Goals include (amongst others):

  • helping existing Macintosh users learn more about and get the most out of their computers.
  • helping Windows users interested in learning more about the Mac operating system.

  • creating "special interest groups" of members who have similar interests.
  • developing relationships with Mac-friendly businesses in the community.
  • members helping members with tech support issues, sharing information and making it easier to thrive as a Mac user in Eastern North Carolina (something we know isn't always easy!).
  • providing seminars, presentations, and workshops available to the general public on topics related to what the Mac does best!
